Hell’s Kitchen is a brand new musical set for Broadway featuring the songs of Alicia Keys.
The show will transfer to the Shubert Theatre on Broadway in 2024. Previews begin on 28 March, with an opening night scheduled for 20 April.
Synopsis
In a tiny flat clinging to the edge of Times Square, 17-year-old Ali yearns for her share of the New York dream.
Ali’s mother is equally resolute in shielding her daughter from repeating her own errors.
As Ali becomes enamoured with a gifted young drummer, both she and her mother confront harsh realities about race, rebellion, and maturation.
Feeling confined, Ali’s world changes when the melody of a neighbour’s piano playing leads to an unforeseen bond and a dramatically new path ahead.
