Broadway’s hit show A Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond jukebox biomusical, has announced its final performance at the Broadhurst Theatre for June 30.
By the time the curtains close, the production will have seen 35 previews and 657 regular performances.
Producer Ken Davenport expressed the joy Neil Diamond’s music has brought to the world, stating, “Everyone at A Beautiful Noise is proud to say that we had a small hand in telling his inspiring life story on Broadway and sharing in that jubilation with our audiences.”
As the North American tour gears up for launch this fall, starting in Providence, Rhode Island, Davenport is excited for the musical to spread Neil Diamond’s legacy further.
A Beautiful Noise explores the life and career of Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Neil Diamond, featuring hits from his extensive catalog. The original Broadway cast saw Will Swenson playing Neil Diamond–Then, with Nick Fradiani taking over the role in 2023.
Alongside them, the show features Mark Jacoby as Neil Diamond–Now, and a talented ensemble cast bringing to life other significant figures in Diamond’s life.
Directed by Michael Mayer, the musical boasts a skilled creative team responsible for bringing Diamond’s story and music to the stage, complete with iconic songs orchestrated by Bob Gaudio, Sonny Paladino, and Brian Usifer, and a book by Anthony McCarten.
