As Starlight Express gears up for a thrilling return to London, Andrew Lloyd Webber is already busy with new projects.
In a new interview Andrew revealed that he has completed his next show which is due to debut in 2026.
Set in Vienna in 1900, it is being co-written by Oscar-winning Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio.
However, Webber is keeping the subject and title tightly under wraps for now.
“It will have moments nobody has seen done on a stage before,” he teased.

Producer Michael Harrison previously shared that he would be producing the new show.
“There is a new Lloyd Webber musical, I’m producing it, we’re not ready to say exactly what it is yet but it’s thrilling – he’s writing phenomenal melody – it’s really really exciting,” he shared.
Webber has been collaborating with Tim Rice on songs for a play about Sherlock Holmes but that could be a separate project entirely.
Last year, Andrew also talked about creating an immersive theatre production, hinting that his next venture might take a different path.
In related news, Webber has teamed up with Richard Stilgoe to write a new song called Hydrogen for Starlight Express.
The revamped show is currently running at the Starlight Auditorium at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.
