Ariana Grande and Josh Gad are heading into the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss, lending their voices to the animated musical adaptation of Oh, The Places You’ll Go.

Directed by Wicked filmmaker Jon M. Chu and Abominable director Jill Culton, the film is set to hit cinemas on 17 March 2028.

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for their work on Dear Evan Hansen and The Greatest Showman, will pen original songs for the film.

The movie takes inspiration from the beloved Seuss book, often gifted to graduates for its uplifting message about life’s twists and turns.

While plot details are still under wraps, the original story follows a young dreamer navigating life’s choices and challenges with optimism and curiosity.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Chu and Grande have worked together.

She stars as Glinda in his two-part Wicked adaptation, with the next instalment, Wicked: For Good, arriving on 21 November.

Josh Gad, meanwhile, continues his stronghold on animated voices. Known globally as Olaf from Frozen, he also starred in Broadway’s The Book of Mormon and Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast as LeFou.
