Here’s a first look at drag icon Bob The Drag Queen making make a splashy entrance on Broadway.
Starting January 27, 2026, Bob will step into the role of Harold Zidler in the cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
He’ll join the company for a special eight-week engagement, wrapping up on March 22.

Reflecting on the journey, Bob shared: “Being on Broadway has always been a dream of mine. I moved to NYC almost 17 years ago to pursue it. Some roads take a while.”
Known offstage as Caldwell Tidicue, Bob The Drag Queen first found national fame winning season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Since then, Bob has co-hosted HBO’s We’re Here – picking up honors including a Peabody Award and GLAAD Media Award – also making waves with the award-winning Sibling Rivalry podcast.
The current Moulin Rouge! cast is led by Meg Donnelly as Satine and Christian Douglas as Christian.
Moulin Rouge! draws on Baz Luhrmann’s vibrant 2001 film and has dazzled audiences since it opened on Broadway in 2019, winning 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The creative team brings together director Alex Timbers, writer John Logan, and choreographer Sonya Tayeh, with songs from Katy Perry, Elton John, Sia, and more.
