The much-anticipated complete cast for the Broadway-bound musical The Great Gatsby has been unveiled.
This spring, the adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel will take the stage at the Broadway Theatre.
Following its successful world premiere at New Jersey’s Paper Mill Playhouse in October 2023, peviews are set to begin on March 29 with an official opening night on April 25.
Leading the cast is Jeremy Jordan, celebrated for his roles in Newsies and Smash, who will portray the enigmatic Jay Gatsby.
Tony nominee Eva Noblezada, known for her performances in Hadestown and Miss Saigon, will star as Daisy Buchanan.
The principal cast also includes Noah J. Ricketts as Nick Carraway, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Sara Chase as Myrtle Wilson, John Zdrojeski as Tom Buchanan, Paul Whitty as George Wilson, and Eric Anderson as Wolfsheim, with Ricketts, Pauly, Chase, Zdrojeski, and Whitty reprising their roles from the Paper Mill production.
Joining them is a talented ensemble featuring Raymond Edward Baynard, Austin Colby, Curtis Holland, Traci Elaine Lee, Dariana Mullen, Ryah Nixon, Pascal Pastrana, Kayla Pecchioni, Mariah Reshea Reives, Dan Rosales, Dave Schoonover, Derek Jordan Taylor, Tanairi Sade Vazquez, and Katie Webber. Swings for the production include Kurt Csolak, Carissa Gaughran, Samantha Pollino, Alex Prakken, Jake Trammel, and Jasmine Pearl Villaroel.
The Great Gatsby features music and lyrics by Tony nominees Nathan Tysen and Jason Howland, with a book by Jonathan Larson Grant winner Kait Kerrigan. Marc Bruni directs, with choreography by Dominique Kelley.
The creative team aims to provide a fresh take on the Roaring ’20s saga, focusing particularly on the story’s female characters.
