Bianco, a two-time Drama Desk Award nominee, will star as June Carter Cash. She is recognized for her West End debut in Forbidden Broadway and her role as Glinda in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium.

The musical brings the story of Johnny and June to life through the eyes of their son, songwriter John Carter Cash, who is also a creative force behind the production.

Audiences can expect a soundtrack filled with iconic hits, including I Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, and Jackson.

Direction is provided by Des McAnuff, a two-time Tony winner best known for Jersey Boys and The Who’s Tommy.

Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, who married in 1968 and shared decades together until June’s death in 2003, remain musical legends with a combined 18 Grammy Awards.

The Ballad of Johnny & June is produced by Trafalgar Theatre Productions, the Dodgers, Tommy Mottola, and TEG Dainty, in partnership with the John R. Cash and June Carter Cash Trusts.
