- Alive Forever, featuring Megan Hilty and Jennifer Simard
The album boasts an impressive production team, including three-time Grammy winner Sean Patrick Flahaven and Grammy winner Scott M. Riesett, with Julia Mattison and Noel Carey also onboard.
Death Becomes Her, based on the cult-classic 1992 film, officially opens tomorrow, November 21, at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
The show stars Tony Award nominees Megan Hilty (Smash), Jennifer Simard (Company), and Christopher Sieber (Company), alongside Grammy winner Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child).
Directed and choreographed by Tony winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), the creative team includes book writer Marco Pennette and an original score by Julia Mattison and Noel Carey. Scenic design by Derek McLane and costumes by Paul Tazewell promise a visual feast to match the musical magic.
Based on Robert Zemeckis’ darkly funny film, Death Becomes Her follows Madeline Ashton (Hilty), a vain and self-obsessed actress, and Helen Sharp (Simard), her long-suffering rival.
When Madeline steals Helen’s fiancé, chaos ensues, culminating in a life-changing potion with some very strange side effects.
