Disney’s Hercules to Open in London’s West End in 2025

Disney's Hercules

Get ready to go from zero to Hero as Disney’s animated classic Hercules hits London’s West End!

Opening in the summer of 2025 at the iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane, where Frozen is currently casting its icy spell, this production promises to bring all the magic and might of the 1997 film to the stage.

Hercules isn’t just flexing those demigod muscles — he’s bringing along the full soundtrack that fans fell in love with, including hits like “Go the Distance,” “I Won’t Say (I’m In Love),” and the absolute showstopper, “Zero to Hero.”

This stage adaptation has been a long time coming. From its early days at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park to the Paper Mill Playhouse and a recent run in Hamburg, the show has been sharpening its swords and perfecting its hydra-slaying skills.

And now, the gods of musical theatre have blessed us with a dream team: Alan Menken and David Zippel, who gave us those unforgettable tunes, are back with music and lyrics, while Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah are injecting fresh energy into the book.

Direction and choreography? That’s all Casey Nicholaw, the guy behind The Book of Mormon and Aladdin , with Tanisha Scott adding her own choreographic flair.

Get your sandals ready, because the gods are about to shake things up in London!
