Disney fans, get ready to let it go all over again! A proshot of the beloved Frozen The Musical is set to hit Disney+ in 2025.
The West End production, which was filmed earlier this year, will soon be available to stream, although the exact release date is still under wraps.
The magical world of Frozen features a stellar cast, including Samantha Barks as the iconic Elsa, Laura Dawkes as her spirited sister Anna, and Jammy Kasongo as the rugged Kristoff.
Craig Gallivan lends his voice and charm to Olaf, while Oliver Ormson steps into the role of the dashing yet devious Hans.
Richard Frame takes on the role of the scheming Duke of Weselton, and the delightful reindeer Sven is portrayed by Mikayla Jade and Ashley Birchall, who alternate the role.
If you can’t wait for the Disney+ release, there’s still time to experience the magic in person.
Frozen The Musical is currently dazzling audiences at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, but its enchanting three-year run will sadly come to an end on 8 September 2024.
Since its debut in August 2021, the show has captivated over 2.8 million people, leaving a lasting impression with its stunning visuals, memorable performances, and iconic songs.
With music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and a book by Jennifer Lee, Frozen has received widespread acclaim.
Director Michael Grandage, along with set and costume designer Christopher Oram, crafted a visually spectacular production, featuring 154 costumes and a set sparkling with tens of thousands of crystals.
Alongside the excitement of the proshot release, there are whispers that Disney is developing a live-action remake of the original Frozen animation.
For now, we’ll have to wait and see if Elsa and Anna will grace the big screen in live-action form.
