Concord Theatricals now holds the worldwide stage licensing rights for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton.
Fans and schools eager to stage the game-changing musical have a new reason to get excited.
A Teen Edition of Hamilton will launch in 2028, bringing the hit show to educational and youth stages first.

Lin-Manuel Miranda shared: “I’m excited to see students take on these roles and to share this story from school stages in their communities. It’s only a matter of time.”
Hamilton, known for shaking up musical theater with its fusion of hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and Broadway traditions, has garnered just about every major theater award, including the Tony, Olivier, Grammy and Pulitzer Prize.
Since its 2015 debut, Hamilton’s unique storytelling – the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton told by a contemporary America – has made it a cultural phenomenon and a staple for theater fans and novices alike.
The creative team includes Thomas Kail (director), Andy Blankenbuehler (choreography), and Alex Lacamoire (musical supervision and orchestrations), with the work inspired by Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography.
