Heathers the Musical set for New York return in 2025

Heathers the Musical, the darkly comedic, high-energy show that’s become a West End sensation, is officially crossing the pond!

The British production of the show will open in New York in 2025, with a venue and dates to be confirmed.

This beloved production features a book, music, and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe.

It’s based on the iconic 1989 cult film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, which has long held a special place in the hearts of fans for its sharp wit, biting social commentary, and unforgettable one-liners.

Directed by Andy Fickman, the UK production is known for its edgy choreography by Gary Lloyd, eye-catching designs by David Shields, vivid lighting by Ben Cracknell, and punchy sound by Dan Samson.

It first captivated audiences in 2018 at The Other Palace before taking to the West End, with runs in both 2018 and 2021.

That was followed by multiple tours and another West End run earlier in 2024.

Heathers: The Musical had originally ran Off-Broadway in 2014.
