This year’s Royal Variety Performance promises to be an unmissable celebration for musical theatre fans.

A dazzling line-up of stage favourites will come together for an evening of show-stopping moments at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Leading the bill is a spectacular 40th anniversary tribute to Les Misérables.

In what’s set to be one of the most ambitious musical performances ever staged at the event, over 400 performers will take to the stage – including West End legends Michael Ball, Matt Lucas, Katy Secombe, Bradley Jaden and Killian Donnelly.

They’ll be joined by cast members from the West End and Paris productions, along with amateur companies from across the UK, to perform a sweeping medley of Les Mis classics.

Also making waves is an exclusive preview of Paddington The Musical, introduced by composer Tom Fletcher.

Strictly favourite Johannes Radebe will bring the glitz and glamour of Kinky Boots to the stage, performing a powerful number from the high-heeled hit musical.

And in a moving tribute to 1985’s Live Aid, the cast of Just For One Day will take audiences back to that iconic moment in musical history with a one-off ensemble performance introduced by Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure.

These theatre highlights will be joined by music from Jessie J, performing a personal song from her new album, and Madness, making their first ever Royal Variety appearance. Grammy-winning artist Laufey also joins the line-up, along with Britain’s Got Talent winner Harry Moulding.

Comedian Jason Manford will host the night, which takes place at London’s Royal Albert Hall in front of members of the Royal Family.

The Royal Variety Performance 2025 will air on UK TV later this year on ITV and ITVX.
