Broadway’s newest darling, Maybe Happy Ending, will soon be preserved forever with an Original Cast Recording.
Ghostlight Records has confirmed plans to release the album in spring 2025, featuring the music of Will Aronson and Hue Park. A specific release date will be announced soon.
The show debuted at the Belasco Theatre on 12 November 2024 and has been a critical and audience favourite since day one.
Starring Darren Criss, Helen J Shen, Dez Duron, and Marcus Choi, Maybe Happy Ending tells the story of two HelperBot robots, Oliver and Claire, who are deemed obsolete but find unexpected connection and even love.
Set in a tiny apartment on the outskirts of Seoul, the musical is both whimsical and deeply human, exploring the small, beautiful things that make life meaningful—even for robots.
The production is directed by Tony Award winner Michael Arden, with a creative team including Clint Ramos on costumes, Peter Hylenski on sound design, and Dane Laffrey providing a stunning set and video design.
The musical has already won accolades, including the prestigious Richard Rodgers Award, and its journey to Broadway follows successful runs in Korea and at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.
For fans of heartfelt storytelling, beautiful music, and inventive staging, Maybe Happy Ending continues to capture hearts. This upcoming cast recording ensures its magic will live on long after the curtain falls.
