New Musical Fly More Than You Fall To Make UK Debut

Get ready for an emotional and uplifting ride as the UK premiere of Fly More Than You Fall lands at Southwark Playhouse Elephant this autumn.

Running from 18th October to 23rd November, this new musical delves deep into the heart of grief, hope, and resilience.

Fly More Than You Fall tells the story of Malia, a young girl whose world is shattered when her mother is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The musical features a Book and Lyrics by Eric Holmes, known for his work on TV’s The Good Fight and Smash, and Music and Lyrics by Nat Zegree, a multi-talented performer and composer.

Both Holmes and Zegree have channelled their personal experiences of losing a parent at a young age into the creation of this show.

As Eric puts it: “We created the show because we needed the show. Grief doesn’t come with a timeline—it stays with you forever.”

The production will be helmed by director Christian Durham (Zorro – The Musical).

The creative team also boasts associate director Georgie Rankcom, movement director Heather Douglas, and orchestrator Daniel Edmonds.
