The powerful, Olivier-nominated musical Sylvia is officially returning to UK stages.
The show will launch a limited UK tour in Autumn 2026 before ending with five unmissable performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Starring Beverley Knight as Emmeline Pankhurst and Sharon Rose as Sylvia Pankhurst, this high-energy show brings a revolutionary story back to the stage with a bold mix of hip hop, funk, soul and electric choreography.

Sylvia tells the story of the often-overlooked middle daughter of the Pankhurst family, a fierce activist who not only fought for women’s right to vote but also stood up for working-class communities and those without a voice.
Set against the backdrop of the Suffragette movement, it explores Sylvia’s battles with both her family and society, highlighting the personal cost of standing by your principles.
The production opens in Leicester on 24 September before heading to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Salford, Norwich and Canterbury, closing with a powerful final run at the Royal Albert Hall from 13–15 November.
Over 100 years ago, suffragettes were banned from speaking at the Hall – now, their story takes centre stage.
Created by Kate Prince and featuring music by Josh Cohen and DJ Walde, Sylvia first premiered at The Old Vic and quickly earned critical acclaim for its fresh take on British history.
Tickets for the Royal Albert Hall go on sale 7 November.
