The Lost Boys Sets Broadway Debut for Spring 2026

The Lost Boys is officially making the jump to Broadway.

The musical adaptation of the 1987 cult classic will begin previews at the Palace Theatre on March 27, 2026, ahead of its official opening night on April 26.

Directed by Tony winner Michael Arden, the show promises a fresh take on the vampire story that helped define a generation.

The musical will feature a book by David Hornsby and Chris Hoch, with original music by the band The Rescues.

On the cast are Caissie Levy as Lucy Emerson, LJ Benet as Michael, Ali Louis Bourzgui as David, and Benjamin Pajak as Sam Emerson, Maria Wirries as Star, Paul Alexander Nolan as Max, Jennifer Duka as Alan Frog, Miguel Gil as Edgar Frog, Brian Flores as Marko, Sean Grandillo as Dwayne and Dean Maupin as Paul.

The story follows brothers Michael and Sam as they move to the strange California town of Santa Carla with their mom and grandfather, only to get caught in a war between teen vampires and the kids who hunt them.

The stage version will explore themes of identity, change and growing up, all set against a backdrop of supernatural chaos.
