The cast of Cats: The Jellicle Ball took center stage on Good Morning America this week with a taste of the reimagined musical.
The new revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical swaps out the traditional junkyard set for a bold, ballroom-inspired runway – channeling the spirit and history of New York’s vibrant ballroom scene.

First lighting up Broadway in 1982, Cats was originally based on T.S. Eliot’s book
After a buzzworthy Off-Broadway run at the Perelman Performing Arts Center, Cats: The Jellicle Ball opened at the Broadhurst Theatre on April 7,with an all star cast.
Tony winner André De Shields stars as Old Deuteronomy alongside Tempress Chasity Moore as Grizabella, Junior LaBeija as Gus and Leiomy Maldonado as Macavity.
The cast also features Ken Ard, who originated Macavity in the original Broadway production, returning as DJ Griddlebone.
Cats: The Jellicle Ball continues its run at the Broadhurst, with booking currently open until September.
