The Wicked: For Good movie soundtrack is set to release on November 21, the same day the film hits theaters, and it’s bringing fresh music to go along with the iconic score.
Two completely new songs, written by original composer Stephen Schwartz, have been created just for the movie.
Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, will perform “No Place Like Home,” while Ariana Grande, starring as Glinda, takes on “The Girl in the Bubble.”
Both tracks are expected to be eligible for Oscar consideration, unlike the added material from the first film.
“The Wicked Witch of the East,” which wasn’t on the original Broadway cast album, is finally included.
Plus, the song will open with “Every Day More Wicked” in a change from the stage show’s Act II opener “Thank Goodness”.

Schwartz said: “I’m especially happy that the soundtrack album for Wicked: For Good has so much new music on in.
“In addition to two brand new songs, there is a lot that’s new in several other existing songs. So not only listeners coming to the score for the first time, but long-time fans of the original Broadway cast album, will have a great deal to discover.”
The soundtrack will be available in multiple formats – CD, digital, vinyl, and limited-edition variants through retailers like Target, Amazon, Walmart and Barnes & Noble.
