Wicked: For Good Trailer Reunites Elphaba and Glinda

Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba in the trailer

The final trailer for Wicked: For Good has landed and it’s clear this final act won’t be pulling any punches.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande return as Elphaba and Glinda in the sequel to last year’s box office smash, which became the most successful Broadway film adaptation in history.

Directed again by Jon M. Chu, Wicked: For Good picks up with the witches estranged and Oz on the brink of chaos.

Watch the trailers below…

Elphaba now lives in hiding, branded The Wicked Witch of the West, still fighting for the truth about The Wizard, played by Jeff Goldblum.

Glinda, meanwhile, has embraced the spotlight in Emerald City, working under the watchful eye of Michelle Yeoh’s Madame Morrible and preparing to marry Jonathan Bailey’s Prince Fiyero.

But fame doesn’t fix everything. Haunted by her broken friendship with Elphaba, Glinda tries to make peace – only for things to spiral even further.

The fallout affects everyone: Ethan Slater’s Boq, Marissa Bode’s Nessarose, and even a certain girl from Kansas who drops into Oz at just the wrong moment.

As tensions rise and a mob closes in, Elphaba and Glinda must come together one last time – or risk losing everything.

Also appearing are Bowen Yang and Bronwyn James as Glinda’s assistants, and Sharon D. Clarke as the voice of Elphaba’s nanny.

Wicked: For Good hits cinemas on 21 November 2025.
