The West End is buzzing again and it’s all about Rachel Zegler.
A new trailer has just dropped for Evita, the Jamie Lloyd-directed revival of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical, now running at the iconic London Palladium through to 6 September 2025.
Zegler takes centre stage as Eva Perón – and yes, she delivers that anthem, Don’t Cry for Me Argentina, with full emotional force.
She’s joined by Diego Andres Rodriguez as Che, James Olivas as Juan Perón, Aaron Lee Lambert as Agustín Magaldi and Bella Brown as The Mistress and Alternate Eva.
Evita charts the rise of Eva Duarte from small-town beginnings to Argentina’s First Lady – a story of ambition, glamour and tragedy, played out in iconic songs like Buenos Aires, Rainbow High, and High Flying Adored.
The musical first made headlines in 1976 as a concept album, later becoming a Tony-winning hit that made stars out of Elaine Paige and Patti LuPone.
