The queens of Westerberg High have returned, and they’re making a scene once again at New World Stages.

In a brand-new clip released from the Off-Broadway revival of Heathers the Musical, McKenzie Kurtz, Olivia Elease Hardy and Elizabeth Teeter are taking centre stage in the number Candy Store – and it’s every bit as ferocious as we remember.

This extended revival run will keep the drama going all the way through to 25 January 2026.

It’s a homecoming of sorts – the cult musical is back at the same venue that hosted its original New York production in 2014.

Originally adapted from the 1988 teen dark comedy, Heathers follows Veronica Sawyer as she climbs the social ladder at Westerberg High after befriending the school’s most dangerous clique: the Heathers.

But things take a twisted turn when she meets J.D., the mysterious new student with an even darker agenda.

Lorna Courtney leads as Veronica, joined by Casey Likes as J.D., with Kurtz, Hardy, and Teeter stepping into the iconic roles of Heather Chandler, Heather Duke, and Heather McNamara.

The cast also features Kerry Butler playing a double role as Ms. Fleming and Veronica’s mum.
