Joshua Henry delivered a stirring performance of Make Them Hear You on The View, bringing a bit of Broadway magic to daytime television.
Currently starring in the revival of Ragtime the Musical at Lincoln Center Theater, playing through June 14.
Ragtime, first seen on Broadway in 1998, is based on E.L. Doctorow’s acclaimed novel and tells interwoven stories set in early 20th-century America.
With music and lyrics by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, the show’s score has long remained a fan favorite.
Henry is no stranger to high-profile roles, having made his mark in shows like Hamilton, Carousel and Into the Woods.
He’s joined on the cast of the revival by Olivier and Grammy nominee Caissie Levy (Hair, Frozen), and Tony winner Brandon Uranowitz (Leopoldstadt, Falsettos).
