Tom Fletcher brought a touch of marmalade magic to Strictly Come Dancing, with a performance from Paddington The Musical alongside Paddington himself.
We got an exclusive look at the new stage show, which is now open running in London’s West End, in Paddington’s first TV performance.
The musical, scored by Fletcher and with a book by Jessica Swale, promises plenty of family fun, mishaps, and dazzling choreography under the direction of Luke Sheppard.

Inspired by Michael Bond’s timeless books and the popular film, the production finds Paddington, the adventurous bear from Peru, navigating life – and misadventure – in London with the Browns.
The cast features Arti Shah and James Hameed bringing Paddington to life on stage, with a strong ensemble including Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Timi Akinyosade, Amy Booth-Steel, Delilah Bennett-Cardy, Adrian Der Gregorian and Bonnie Langford.
Behind the scenes, the creative team includes Ellen Kane on choreography, Tom Pye on scenic design, Gabriella Slade on costumes, and Neil Austin on lighting.
The legacy of Paddington stretches back to 1958, when Michael Bond introduced the bear in A Bear Called Paddington. Over 35 million Paddington books have now warmed shelves worldwide.
Paddington The Musical runs at the Savoy Theatre in London.
