The original Queens of SIX are back in action – this time on the big screen.
A live proshot of SIX at London’s Vaudeville Theatre, featuring the original West End cast, is heading to cinemas across the US on August 14.
The Kelly Clarkson Show recently gave us an early taste, airing the standout opening number Ex-Wives in a performance clip from the film.
The original cast – Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Millie O’Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson, and Maiya Quansah-Breed – are all back to play the storied wives of Henry VIII.
Having already captivated fans on London’s stage, their performances have been preserved on film for a new generation and broader audience.
The filmed production debuted in 2025 in UK and Australian theaters, bringing in over $8.5 million at the box office
SIX is the brainchild of Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, who directed the stage version alongside Jamie Armitage, with film direction from Liz Clare.
Since debuting at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017, SIX has racked up more than 35 international awards, including two Tony Awards in 2022.
The musical is currently running on both Broadway and London’s West End, and touring both countries as well.
Marlow and Moss said: “We’re so grateful that we had opportunity to film the show, and that we get to share SIX with a wider audience in this new and exciting way. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!!!”
